Most of the homes we work on are loved, lived-in places that just need more space, or a tired layout brought back to life. We've spent nineteen years extending and reshaping Devon family homes, and that experience shows up most in the bits you don't see: the structural detailing, the drainage runs, the way new walls meet old.

You'll get one written, fixed-price quote covering every line, including a contingency if there's anything we genuinely can't see until we open up. No "extras" surprises at the end.

Extensions and new builds, demystified.

Most single-storey rear extensions take 12–16 weeks on site once we start, depending on size and finish level. Two-storey extensions and full wrap-arounds typically run 16–24 weeks. We give you a week-by-week schedule with the quote and update it every Friday.
As a rough guide: a single-storey rear extension typically lands £45,000–£85,000 depending on size, finish and groundworks. Two-storey extensions usually £80,000–£150,000. Loft conversions £40,000–£70,000. Once we've visited your home you'll get a fixed, line-by-line written quote, not a vague estimate.
Yes. We work alongside a trusted local architect and structural engineer. We can introduce you, handle the planning application and all the council sign-offs, and bring it all together so you're not chasing three different people for answers.
For most rear extensions and loft conversions, yes, the existing kitchen and main living spaces stay usable for the bulk of the project, with a short period of disruption when we connect old to new. Whole-house renovations are a different conversation we'll have honestly with you up front.
